Quick facts
Race: Earth genasi · Companion: Masha · Allies: Terra Misu Umber, The Cacklers · Status: Dead (succumbed to the Collector’s curse at sea, late Campaign 1)
Vath was an earth genasi who traveled with Masha during Campaign 1. Whether the two were related or partners was never made clear. He fought beside The Cacklers against The Collector and died of the curse the Collector left on him.
History
Terra’s job in Beerlia
After the Greatest Below the Heavens tournament, Terra Misu Umber traded places with Sophie and went to work for the Collector. Vath and Masha helped Terra and the Gem Amethyst on the job she was running for him in Beerlia. The job ended with all of them chasing Max the Andalite, who had been transformed to look like Oolong, through a portal and into The FeyWild (C1 Chapter 08).
The Collector’s last fight
When the Collector needed help against the Cacklers, he collected Vath and Masha from the FeyWild. They went with him through the teleport to the fire plane, then turned and helped the Cacklers bring him down. In that fight the Collector cursed Vath, just as he had cursed Greene and others (C1 Chapter 08).
Parting ways
Vath and Masha traveled with the Cacklers to Scotch on the Rocks, where they went their separate ways (C1 Chapter 09). Vath never received a greater restoration for the curse. It eventually killed him aboard a ship bound back to Beerlia.
