Quick facts
Location: Muscle Tower, East City · Attackers: The Cacklers · Defenders: the Rose Ribbon Army under Commander Red · Outcome: Isidar the Conqueror slain by Terra; the dead of the Rose Ribbon Army revived by Shenlong · Told in: C1 Chapter 12 to C1 Chapter 14
The final battle of the war against the Rose Ribbon Army. The Cacklers assaulted Muscle Tower from North City and fought their way to the top, where Commander Red turned out to be a dragon.
Why the tower
17 and 18 told the party that Dr. Gero had fled to Muscle Tower. He later fled it again because his own creations were hunting him. The tower was said to be built with “the blood of the innocents as its mortar.”
The climb
The Cacklers cut a soldier in half in a closing portal on the way in. Recoome (“rhymes with doom,” “No one dies like Recoome”) went down. Captain Ginyu swapped bodies with Terra, and she won her body back.
Commander Red
At the top, Commander Red said he would use the Star Orbs to live forever and “rule not just Arlia, but all planes of existence forever.” He revealed that he was Isidar the Conqueror and became an ancient red dragon: “I am Isidar the Conqueror and with the Star Orbs that you have brought to me, I shall trespass into the domain of the gods!”
The kill
When Juliette could not revive Sophie, Terra leapt from the tower onto the flying dragon and killed Isidar. She kept swinging long after he was dead.
The wish
With all seven Star Orbs gathered, Shenlong was summoned. Juliette wished: “Revive all of those that were killed by the Rose Ribbon Army.”
The tower has since been torn down.
