The Saiyan Compound is the home of Prince Vegeta’s clan in the Salt Desert. Nappa looks after it, and it is Ellery’s home. Since Session 62 it has also sheltered the FAM’s families.
History
Ellery’s return (Sessions 17-18)
After the fight at The Last Drop, the party retreated here. Vegeta confronted Ellery about running away and challenged her to a sparring match. She lost the duel but earned his respect. Before the party left he gave her a crescent-shaped yellow item to use only as a last resort and told her to find Kakarot (Session 17). The clan would not help fight the Bloodhowler. Nappa later returned Steve to the party and served sandworm steak, which Kip hated (Session 18). Cabba counts hunting sandworms among his hobbies.
Sanctuary (Session 62 onward)
When the Velvet Truffle Company took over the Saline Coast and its reach spread toward Green Hollow, the FAM sent their families to Nappa’s compound (Session 62). Bran carried the sleeping Arghen across the dunes toward it in a wagon (Session 66). Broul, Levan and the rest of Kip’s family are there now. Vegeta has left for Namek to find a new guardian for the Star Orbs.
