Quick facts
Title: The Grand Confectioner · Role: Owner of the Velvet Truffle Company · Base: Choco Island · Status: Alive (as of C2 Session 83)
Gideon Velgrave, “the Grand Confectioner,” owns and runs the Velvet Truffle Company from its headquarters on Choco Island.
What is known
Very little. Masha has never seen him act directly. He sits above the Board of Sweet Lords and sends them a monthly memorandum, which in Session 71 repeated The Mistress’s directive: no Dominion operation may engage, provoke or entangle the Cacklers, their households, their academy or their affiliates.
In the same meeting, when word came that Khalor’s dragon eggs were ahead of schedule, Cadbury Vex’s briefing noted that Gideon Velgrave would be “insufferable.”
