Kale is a Saiyan and a friend of Ellery. She is scrawny and timid, but when she loses control she becomes one of the most dangerous things the FAM has fought.
History
Nappa warned Ellery that Kale was angry and coming to fight her (Session 44). On the road to Green Hollow, Ellery sensed a familiar energy and found Kale wandering a hilltop ruin, suffering from extreme exhaustion. When their mutual acquaintance Caulifla came up, Kale lost control. Her eyes turned white, her muscles bulged, her hair turned dark green, heat poured off her and the world seemed to lose its color as she screamed (Session 49).
The party fought to subdue her without permanent harm. She blinded and battered them, targeting Ellery above all, until Wilbur knocked her out with a final shot and she shrank back to her frail form. The party kept her calm with a suggestion spell while they rested (Session 50). Vegeta later said he spared Kale and Ellery as infants because of Nappa’s soft heart. Ellery sensed Kale’s energy again in Session 73.
