Mia Vex is a former schoolmate of Nelda from CAGS and a member of the adventuring group Bitch Perfect. Her father is one of the highest-ranking officials in the Velvet Truffle Company.
History
Nelda ran into Mia and her friends Joanie, Lynn and Bryn while visiting her old school in North City, and set up a meeting with her old rivals about an alliance for the Cell Games (Session 61).
After the Cell Games, Mia asked to meet. She chatted as if catching up after school while quietly warning Nelda they were being watched. She revealed that her father was one of the three highest-ranking officials in the VTC, second only to the owner, and that she had been ordered to plant a tracking device, Asset Songbird, on Nelda with a goodbye hug. She was only playing along because she didn’t believe Nelda deserved it. Her father then held a strategy meeting in a VIP suite, boasting, “See? I told you. She can handle it. I raised her well.” (Session 70).
When Nelda found her alone, Mia was in tears. She said she didn’t even work for the VTC and that her father used her as a pawn to keep his own hands clean. She also told Nelda that a friend of hers claimed to be dating Verio Nightwind, the stage name of Cedric Lightharbor Jr., and that her father had asked her to slip the friend an experimental love potion to keep Cedric Jr. in North City and away from his father. She warned that Catman would be executed within a week or two. The two made dinner plans with Bitch Perfect at Chili’s, which the entire FAM crashed. Nelda argued that Mia deserved a chance to repair her relationship with her father, so the party agreed they would rather get him fired than killed (Session 71).
