Quick facts
Race: Dwarf · Role: City treasurer of the Saline Coast · Status: Free, pardoned by the VTC (as of C2 Session 83)
Orin Coppercoin is the fancy, monocled dwarf who served as treasurer of the Saline Coast. With Lyla Brightspark, he slowly poisoned Mayor Eliza Windrider.
History
In Session 8, Escher followed the woman connected to Felix and overheard her talking with a fancy dwarf with a monocle, who was shocked about Tobias Bigsby’s arrest and worried about “snoopers.” Nelda identified him as Orin.
The delirious mayor told Wilbur that Orin and Lyla gave her strange drinks that burned (Session 11). Wilbur then overheard the two of them giving her a “medicine” that caused her pain, planning to plant documents for Captain Eric Stormshield to find, and planning to abandon her once the election was over (Session 12).
At the festival’s closing ceremonies, Windrider ordered Orin’s arrest along with Lyla’s and Tobias Blackwood’s (Session 27). After the Velvet Truffle Company took over the city, it released and pardoned both Orin and Lyla, claiming they were victims of partisan politics.
