Salt Spun Manor is the residence of the mayor of the Saline Coast. It is where Wilbur found Mayor Eliza Windrider being poisoned and carried her out in a bag of holding.
History
After the prison break in Session 11, Wilbur decided to sneak into the manor alone to look into the mayor’s mysterious illness. He found Windrider frail and delirious. She talked about “the numbers” being wrong and the “stars” not being right, and said that Orin and a kind woman named Lyla gave her strange drinks that burned. For a moment her eyes sharpened, and she grabbed his collar and begged for help before passing out.
In Session 12, Wilbur overheard Lyla and Orin giving her the “medicine.” They talked about planting documents for Captain Eric Stormshield to find and about abandoning the mayor once the election was over. Wilbur put Windrider in his bag of holding, set the room on fire and flew out the window. His flight gave out after about a hundred feet, and he fell into a field outside the manor walls. Outside, Ellery was caught trying to quietly take down a guard and backed off, while Kip scrambled over a gate.
At a farmhouse nearby, Wilbur bought an old donkey, Steve, and a cart from a farmer named Eugene, then bribed his way past the guards back into the city.
