Quick facts
Type: Stadium · Location: the Dragon’s District, North City · Events: the Greatest Below the Heavens tournament, The Cell Games
The Coliseum, also called the Collector’s stadium, is where North City’s elite gather to watch games and competitions.
In Campaign 1
The Collector hosted the Greatest Below the Heavens tournament here. Its arena changed weather and obstacles from round to round. Elyon won the tournament by knocking Greene out of bounds, just outside the stadium (C1 Chapter 06). Later the Gems Sapphire and Ruby ambushed the Cacklers near the stadium courtyard (C1 Chapter 08).
During the Rose Ribbon Army occupation, Elyon teleported in near the Coliseum just as the black dragon Canidoth landed on its walls. After Greene killed the dragon, the Cacklers called on the city’s citizens to gather at the “newly reclaimed Coliseum” to form a fighting force (C1 Chapter 10).
In Campaign 1.5
Perfect Cell announced the Cell Games over the radio, to be held at the North City Coliseum at noon ten days later (C1.5 Chapter 02). Jimmy Firecracker welcomed the Cacklers back to “the very place that they first became famous worldwide,” and the Cacklers destroyed Cell on its arena floor (C1.5 Chapter 03).
In Campaign 2
Perfect Cell announced The Cell Games would be held at the North City Coliseum (Session 56). On the day, Bulma Briefs hosted The FAM in her private suite overlooking it, and the games ended with Arlia’s heroes victorious (Session 70).
