Ibeesee’s Casino is the casino and tavern on Scotch on the Rocks run by Ibeesee, the mother of Captain Barqs’s child Joey. It is where Ibeesee held Barqs and his crew and where the Cacklers freed them.
History
While the Cacklers were caught up in North City, Ibeesee imprisoned Barqs and the usurper Greylock and handed the Rootbeer Float to Captain Rootbeard (C1 Chapter 08).
When the Cacklers came back, they walked into the tavern to “wreck shit” and ran into ten Rose Ribbon soldiers behind a curtain. Rootbeard burst in as a werewolf, and Oolong polymorphed himself into a giant ape. The ape threw Terra Misu Umber through the casino’s glass window and she landed on the fleeing Rootbeard and split him in two (C1 Chapter 09).
The building was evacuating, so the party split up. Juliette and Reese went upstairs invisibly to find Ibeesee, while Greene and Tala used the Power Pole to reach the second floor. They met on the top floor and wrecked Ibeesee’s room, finding only papers. In the cellar they freed Barqs and his crew, and Oolong stole a ton of gold. The party worked out that Ibeesee was trading the Rootbeer Float to the Army in exchange for Joey, and they marched on The Silent Vaults.
