A Star Orb was hidden in a cave off the coast of the Ranchinian Peninsula. The Cacklers split up at its tip and later came back to bargain with a sea hag.
History
After robbing the Silent Vaults, the party sailed here, fighting young dragons and hydras on the way. At the tip of the peninsula, Greene and Elyon headed inland to Korrin’s Tower, while Juliette, Oolong, and Terra Misu Umber sailed down the coast to Buttermilk and took the orb from the Rose Ribbon Army. Waiting for pickup at the border of the peninsula and Tabasco, the trio watched Grand Admiral Aqua behead the Umber Squad on a ship in the army’s docks below (C1 Chapter 05).
The mermaid who offered Juliette a shortcut through the temple at Buttermilk was the source of the crystal apple that later trapped Princess Athena (C1 Chapter 13). To get the princess back, the Cacklers returned to the old temple on the peninsula, where a mermaid led them to a sea hag. Greene traded a hair from his head for the princess’s release and the removal of their curse’s transformation, Oolong bought a boost to his intelligence, and Elyon made a secret trade to have her mother revived.
