Quick facts
Campaign: Campaign 2 · Session: 54 of 83 · Arc: Green Hollow and the Cult of Brandoboris · Where: The Temple of Cyrollellee
While the party prepared to face Sawyer, Kip had a divine vision. In a peaceful, tilled field he met the goddess Cyrollellee. She told him of a growing fracture and war among the heavens, gave back his lost memories of his relationship with Alana, and urged him to be a follower who stands between what is written and what is right.
In the physical world, the party cornered Sawyer. In a chaotic battle, Sawyer stunned Nelda and Escher with psychic attacks, but Nelda caught him in a lethal cloud of daggers. As Sawyer begged for his life, Brandoboris appeared briefly to mock him, only to be chased off by Cyrollellee for violating a divine agreement. Sawyer’s body collapsed lifeless to the floor.
The party looted Sawyer’s remains and found a large cache of gold and a talisman of Brandoboris. Wilbur solved a numerical cipher on a nearby door, which the group used to open a hidden cell at the end of the hallway. Inside they found Kip and Kip’s father, Broul, alive and waiting. Kip woke surrounded by his friends and his father, and discovered that his staff had been permanently imbued with a new and mysterious magical power.
